close On a trip out to see my wife's family in southwestern Kansas my wife said that we had to do a short detour to see this crazy art along the road in Mullinville. We took the detour and stopped to look at an incredible collection of sculpture by M.T. Liggett along Highway 400 west of town. His work has raised the ire of many area residents because of it's political nature. I have stopped several times to photograph his art and I hope to add him to my project on Kansas artists.

news events in Kansas for the association's member newspapers. Cort's photographs of the Greensburg tornado appeared in newspapers across the state.
