close When we first moved to our house near Mulvane my wife pointed out a house with some religious signs on the outside. Over the years the signs came and went then they started appearing painted on the house, then a pickup. One day I stopped and talked with the owner, Mr. Pollard, and asked permission to photograph his house. The first thing he said was that it wasn't his house it was the Lord's house and to shoot all the photographs that I wanted. THe said the Lord comes to him in dreams and tells him what to paint. This is part of a larger project about Kansas artists.

Working with the Kansas Press Association as a technology consultant Cort Anderson has returned to news photography, shooting major
news events in Kansas for the association's member newspapers. Cort's photographs of the Greensburg tornado appeared in newspapers across the state.
