While Kansas has had it's share of notorious characters over the years the Phelps family and their Westborough Baptist Church are some of the worst. Their protests at soldiers funerals have led to laws across the country regarding protests at funerals. These images are from a protest in Meade, Kansas over a hotel that choose to fly a rainbow colored flag which many say is a symbol of gay and lesbian pride something the Phelps family is vehemently against.
