In the evening of May 4, 2007 one of the most powerful tornadoes ever recorded struck Greensburg Kansas, most of the town was destroyed. These three galleries are from visits I made for the Kansas Press Association to provide photographs for their member newspapers.

The town is slowly recovering but it is a long slow process that will take years to complete. If you want to help please take a look at the South Central Kansas Tornado Recovery Operation Web site.
