close As the Technology Consultant for the Kansas Press Association I get to visit many newspapers around the state which gives me the opportunity to photograph a wide variety of places in Kansas. Not only do I get a chance to see communities where the papers are located but many others along the way. This gallery is a sample of some of the places I have visited from Colby in the northwest to Ft. Scott in the southeast and all the places like Lucas and Beaumont in between.

Drawing on his experience as a newspaper photographer he travels across the country searching for interesting photographs in uninteresting places.
Working with the Kansas Press Association as a technology consultant Cort Anderson has returned to news photography, shooting major
news events in Kansas for the association's member newspapers. Cort's photographs of the Greensburg tornado appeared in newspapers across the state.
