close Fowler is a small community along Highway 54 in southwestern Kansas and is where my part of my wife's family lives. In our many visits I have photographed a variety of things there from the original family farmstead to milo at the coop to a graphic back door. Each time we go I try to at least a little time out scouting for new images.

Working with the Kansas Press Association as a technology consultant Cort Anderson has returned to news photography, shooting major
news events in Kansas for the association's member newspapers. Cort's photographs of the Greensburg tornado appeared in newspapers across the state.
