All B&W prints are done using special carbon pigment inks on 100% rag paper. They are then matted using 100% cotton rag board and archival foamcore backing. Prints are attached with hinging tape that has water reversible adhesive that is removeable. Color prints are done using standard RA-4 processing and then matted using the same materials as the B&W prints. Drawing on his experience as a newspaper photographer he travels across the country searching for interesting photographs in uninteresting places.
Working with the Kansas Press Association as a technology consultant Cort Anderson has returned to news photography, shooting major
news events in Kansas for the association's member newspapers. Cort's photographs of the Greensburg tornado appeared in newspapers across the state.
